Starting Hands For No-Limit Micro Stakes Poker

This little video gives a very tight pre-flop hand selection for multi-tabling 4 or more micro-stakes no-limit poker games.  The hands suggested are 10-10, J-J, Q-Q, K-K, A-A, or A-K in early position, gently loosening up to around 7-7 in mid-late position, and down to maybe A-Q on the button if nobody else was in the pot.

Playing this type of very tight pre-flop selection can be a great way of grinding out a profit.  It tends to be quite boring to play this tightly at low limits at a single table, but if you’re playing 4, 6, or even 8 tables you absolutely don’t have time to be making tough decisions, and these tight starting hands mean you avoid tough decisions and can play fast and profitably.
